This hotel is located on a small island in Katsuura Bay, accessible by a guest launch that leaves from Katsuura Tourist Pier. It has six high-volume hot springs, and all of its outdoor baths, including Kishu Cho’mon no Yu at the water’s edge, are fed by hot water from those springs. The hotel also prides itself on cuisine that features plenty of tuna and other seafood.

This hotel enjoys a quiet location deep in an inlet that is set a little bit apart from the town of Katsuura. Both its Shiomi no Yu outdoor bath and its large bath, which features a small aquarium, are fed by water from a hot spring located on the hotel’s grounds. The alkaline water of that spring feels smooth on the skin and is held to have beautifying effects.
